Bogdan Mihailescu – Minister Counselor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Department within the Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom

Mr. Bogdan Mihailescu is Minister Counselor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Department within the Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom, a position he has held since April 2020. Previously he was the personal adviser to the Minister for Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship, having been delegated to coordinate the public financing programs for SMEs. He was also involved in InvestRomania, a department within the Ministry for Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship – the Government’s leading body in promoting and facilitating foreign direct investments in Romania. Mr. Mihailescu has a vast experience in private sector and entrepreneurship, having held top management positions in large companies such as Oracle Romania and SAP Romania from 1996 to 2007, as well as working as a business entrepreneur for more than 10 years in the IT&C sector. During 2009, he was the President of the Governmental Agency in charge of the development and implementation of the National Strategy for Digital Agenda. Bogdan Mihailescu holds a master degree in Computer Science as well as a master degree in Foreign Trade.

The Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland provides all the functions of representing Romania in the state of residence. The Embassy also ensures the dialogue between the Romanian and the British institutions, in all areas of cooperation, which form the foundation of the relations between Romania and the UK. Raluca Constantinescu, Country Director for Trade and Investment in the British Embassy in Bucharest

Raluca joined the British Embassy in Bucharest, in August 2016, as Country Director for Trade and Investment, managing a team focused on promoting UK products and services in Romania, but also contributing to the DIT Europe (a regional network in Department for International Trade oversees) success in promoting UK exports in the region, using her expertise in trade policy and trade negotiations.

Raluca worked for 15 years for the Romanian Trade Ministry first as an expert in the Department for Trade Policy and then as Director of the Department. She represented Romania in Brussels on issues regarding the common trade policy.

Alexandru Bradean – Country Director at KR Group

Alexandru is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with degree in Accounting and Master degree in Financial Analysis. Professional with 15 years of experience working in accounting and financial reporting for local and international companies from various industries such as real estate, retail, pharmaceuticals, IT and construction. Before joining KR Group in 2016 he had been working in the biggest Romanian owned accounting practice for decade.
