Iulian Sorescu – Partner, Head of Financial & State Aid Department, Noerr

Iulian Sorescu is member of ACCA UK, CECCAR, CAFR and AMCOR and heads Noerr’s Financial, State Aid & Management Consulting Department in Romania. He coordinates the strategic advice offered to Noerr’s clients in all business and financial issues such as financial advisory, financial due diligence, financial audit according to IFRS, US/German GAAP and Romanian standards, financial reporting and controlling, bookkeeping, payroll and management consulting. In particular, he helps our clients improve/maintain their financial performance by coaching and monitoring their internal activities and optimizing their structures. Since 2008 our team has successfully assisted many international companies in view of obtaining the financing approval for state aid, by preparing the business plan, business model as well as by providing assistance in relation to the Ministry of Public Finances. The projects represented either extension of production/business of international companies, or Greenfield investments.

Malin Geanovu – Business Development Manager – International Trade at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce

Performance-driven professional in Import-Export field, International Business graduate with experience in Export Procedures–Documentation, Customs Compliance, Sales and Customer Service, Business Development, International Trade and International Finance.

He is also a recognised trainer delivering “Customs Declarations Training” (HMRC recognised) and “Completing Export Documentation”, for different Chambers of Commerce in UK.

Malin is dealing with hundreds of International Trade and Customs Compliance enquiries coming from customers (few thousand companies from all the sectors and fields) and keeps the companies up to date with current changes and updates in the UK International Trade field.

In the last few years Malin took part in creating and delivering International Trade Events, including working with foreign delegations and Embassies.

Tudor Popp – Founding Partner at HotSpot Workhub

After over 10 years of experience in the Austrian real estate market, Tudor Popp founded REC immpuls in Bucharest in 2006 together with German partners, which is now a 100 percent subsidiary of REC Partners GmbH. REC specializes in planning, project management and consulting for commercial real estate and is active all over Europe.

In 2019, together with REC Partners, Tudor launched a new brand in the coworking market – Hotspot Workhub. The first Workhub opened in Bucharest’s exclusive The Mark office building offers local and international businesses an exclusive and flexible office environment. Hotspot set new standards in terms of quality, technology and design.
