Silvia Paun

I am Silvia, an entrepreneur and a working mum of 2 beautiful daughters.

I am visually impaired, with 2% vision left, due to a genetic condition that triggered my sight loss gradually.

My special condition made me want to experience more, I have grown as a person, both professionally and personally.

What helped me the most throughout all these years was the positive mindset that led me to have a normal and beautiful life.

I went from being an entrepreneur, managing a beauty hair spa, the first of its kind in Romania, to training as a massage therapist, motivational speaker and volunteer for charities fighting for the blind and a mentor within the She is Mom platform. I am also a “living book”, part of the concept “human library” meant to raise awareness for the vulnerable group.

Now, I am proud to say that I am a valuable member of the Telios team, delivering telemedicine services.

My mission within Telios is to discover and evangelize the telemedicine option to the ones that are in the biggest need of such services – the low mobility and vulnerable social categories. With my NGO partner program manager hat on I’m gathering the right stakeholders in one place in order to create and manage social programs helping those in need. I’m leading, with great support from Charlie Crocker, the relations with partner NGOs and non-profit organisations.
