On Thursday, the 9th of November 2017, the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce had nearly 700 guests at Crowne Plaza in Bucharest to attend the second edition of the much expected Back2Business Joint Event. It was the business meeting of the year where sponsors, partners and business leaders enjoyed a great evening.
BRCC’s great effort to lead such a large event paid off, as the objective was to offer the participants a full business experience and the chance to interact with each other, meet business decision makers and leaders from many field and to better know the International Chambers of Commerce in Romania. The feedback received after the event was truly positive and inspiring. Everyone was very pleased and considerded the event a great succes.

The night would not have been complete without the inspiring speeches given by foreign ambasadors in Romania and by important business figures on the local market. We were honored to have the American, Irish and Belgian ambasadors in Romania give speeches during the event. Also, the British Deputy Head of Mission and the Israeli Head of Economic Department enchanted us with their presentations. Along with them, the directors and presidents of the chambers that took part in the event presented their chambers. It was a great business insight for all the guests at the event.
Charlie Crocker, CEO of BRCC, said: “Last year we were hoping for 250 attendees but 400 showed up. This year our expectations were again exceeded, as we had almost 700 guests attending the event. Thank you! We could have never achieved this remarkable turnout without the help and partnership of our fellow Chambers in Bucharest – the American, Czech, Austrian, Hellenic, Irish, Belgian, Dutch, French, German, Israeli, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Bulgarian, Danish and Swiss chambers.”
Back 2 Business is part of a global initiative bought by Farah Farazad, founder of Farazad Productions, a London-based firm. Farah communicated that B2B in 2018 would take place across multiple continnents and countries including America, Central and South America, Germany, Romania, Russia and China.
