SME Instrument Update – February 2016 beneficiaries & April 2016 proposals – Winnovart

Phase 1 beneficiaries from February 2016 cut-off: EASME received 1,995 proposals for the Phase 1 February 2016 cut-off date, out of which 174 projects were selected to receive funds. As a result, 189 SMEs from 26 countries will receive funding of €8.7 million for this cut-off. The success rate for the February 2016 cut-off was 8.7%, thus only slightly higher than the success rate for the November 2015 cut-off (8.5%). You can check the country and topic breakdown here.

Phase 2 beneficiaries from February 2016 cut-off: EASME received 553 proposals from 689 participants for the Phase 2 February 2016 cut-off date, out of which 47 projects were selected to receive funds. As a result, 50 SMEs from 14 countries will receive funding of €73 million for this cut-off. The success rate for the February 2016 cut-off was 8.8%, which was considerably higher than the success rate for the November 2015 cut-off (2.8%). You can check the country and topic breakdown here.

Phase 1 proposals for April 2016 cut-off: EASME has received 2,005 proposals from 41 countries for Phase 1 cut-off in May 2016, thus a slight increase from the February 2016 cut-off date. A total of 2,138 businesses submitted these proposals, and 95% of the proposals were submitted by a single applicant. You can check the country and topic breakdown here.

Phase 2 proposals for April 2016 cut-off: EASME has received 969 proposals from 36 countries for Phase 2 cut-off in April 2016. Therefore, there has been an increase in submissions compared to the cut-off date in February 2016. You can check the country and topic breakdown here.
