Gallup and other independent companies that have conducted various studies to identify factors that help employees to be motivated and performant at work. Research has revealed that 8 out of 10 employees are demoted, lacking the passion and desire to reach their full potential. Therefore, the difficult task for managers and entrepreneurs is to discover the conditions they have to meet to make team members reach their professional goals.

Along with financial and non-financial motivation, several other key elements refer to: the managers’ relationship with each employee, working environment and organizational culture built on the mission, vision and values ​​promoted by the company.

One of these values ​​is the attention paid to the well-being and health of employees, says Laura Afrasine, MediHelp International General Manager. At an international level, 10% of call center employees are absent each day, and 34% are missing because of health problems. These statistics are worrying because, annually, a company may lose up to 10,000 euro because of a demotivated employee with an increased absence rate, Laura Afrasine adds.

Both in Romania and anywhere in the world, such a plan for employees offers them the possibility to benefit from a comprehensive medical insurance including: maternity, dental treatments in case of accident, emergency medical transfer, evacuation and repatriation.

A private health insurance with international coverage will allow each employee and their family to access more than 425,000 specialized healthcare providers at the highest standards. Besides the fact that some pre-existing conditions can be covered if medical information is declared in the form, says Laura Afrasine, the maximum annual insurance is 3 million euros. Equally, these plans are deductible up to 400 euro / year, both for the employer and for the employee, which is a significant tax feature, Laura Afrasine adds.

Given that Gallup estimates that poor management and low employee productivity will attract loss for US companies up to $ 1.2 trillion a year, managers and contractors are forced to put together a relevant compensation and benefits package to attract and retain the best employees.
