In March, XPRIMM magazine, the most prestigious publication specialised in the insurance industry in Romania, awarded companies, insurance brokers and specialists who distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements in the past year.
For over 15 years, the magazine XPRIMM Insurance & Pensions recognises the achievements and rewards the success of our industry. CertAsig was this year, as in previous editions, a partner in this prestigious event, a landmark for recognizing success in the insurance industry in Romania.
XPRIMM brought together professionals and specialists from the insurance and brokerage market in Romania, in two events: the Insurance Brokers Awards – VI-th Edition (March 2) and the Insurance Market Awards Gala – XVII-th edition (March 23).
At the first event, dedicated to recognizing insurance brokers, James Grindley, CEO CertAsig, was honoured to present the award for Creativity in Brokerage to Leader Team Broker.
“On behalf of CertAsig, I was honoured to congratulate all the representatives of the brokerage companies, for their work in 2016. I was especially pleased to have the opportunity to present the award for Creativity to Razvan Rusu, CEO and owner of Leader Team. We successfully ran many projects together in recent years, such as insurance for some of the largest public events in Romania, but also many other complex risks. for corporate clients – our common area of expertise“, stated James Grindley, CEO CertAsig.
This year’s winners in the Brokers Awards Gala were: Marsh Romania (Excellence Trophy – Corporate), Safety Broker (Excellence Trophy – Retail), Destine Broker (Excellence Trophy –Dynamism), Victor Sraer (Excellence Trophy).
The organisers also recognised tradition and stability, as well as sustainable development and contribution to the development of the brokerage market, as follows: Cristian Fugaciu (Manager of the Year), Cerasela Chiriac and UNSICAR (Contribution to the Development of the Brokerage Market), Millenium Insurance Broker (Sustainable development); Renomia (Tradition and stability).
The XPRIMM Awards for contribution to the development of the brokerage market were awarded as follows: Daw Management, Globasig Broker, Verasig Broker, GrECo JLT Romania, Raiffeisen Broker; Leader Team, Gothaer Insurance – Reinsurance, Ioana Morcovescu. The awards for “Young Professionals” went this year to Paul Ivan, Bogdan Lazar, Oana Cretu, Silviu Chilom, Razvan Popescu and Georgeta Dorobantu.

The second important event on March 23rd, was the XVII-th edition of the Insurance Industry Awards Gala.The event awarded insurers, brokers, specialised journalists, as well as insurance professionals who distinguished themselves in 2016, with their activity and results.
Certasig was the winner of the XPRIMM Triumph Trophy in the event’s sections of awards for insurers. This Prize recognizes special contribution to the Romanian insurance market.
Our branches in Cluj, Valcea and Sofia were also awarded for their sales performance, ranking in the top 5 performers in their respective regions.
