On June 17, 2017, we are looking forward to see you again on the plateau, in front of Stâna Turistică in Poiana Brașov. Together we will launch the 8th edition of the “The DHL Carpathian Marathon Relay” event.
We will enjoy an extraordinary sporting experience, while having fun all day long at the Children’s Race and other surprises.
The DHL marathon is a hybrid marathon that can make the transition from an asphalt marathon to a mountain one, as well as shifting from a medium to an advanced level.
Due to the mountain trail that reveals unique landscapes, full of charm and inspiration, the participants can enjoy a truly unique experience, that they cannot come across in any standard marathon. The base difference makes the level of difficulty vary, offering runners both harder uphill mountain portions and easier ones, on the flat portion. Therefore, it is a competition for sport enthusiasts of all ages and a competitive experience.
The marathon category is dedicated to the more advanced runners, who already have experience with this type of competition, while the half marathon is dedicated to those who are just starting out and are willing to push their limits.
The relay race offers participants a chance to work in teams and enjoy results together.
Every year, „ The DHL Carpathian Marathon Relay” helps a good cause. In 2017, we continue our collaboration with the Romanian National Paralympic Committee and support our athletes in their quest for even better results than their performances at Rio.
