The 6th Eurosfat Forum @ JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel

Europuls – the Centre of European Expertise has the great pleasure to invite you to the sixth edition of EUROSFAT, the largest annual Forum for European affairs in Romania, to be held on the 8th of June 2018, in Bucharest, Hotel JW Marriott. We would be honored if you were to accept our invitation to attend our panel on ” The future of the UK-EU economic partnership: how can we reach an agreement that delivers for all ”.

In 2016, the British public voted to leave the European Union and decide their own future. The UK’s decision to leave the Union is one of a number of challenges the EU is currently facing and has generated impetus for reform within the Union.

This year’s Eurosfat Forum will discuss how both sides might make that a reality, focusing in particular on the future EU-UK economic and trade relationship. The forum will include UK and EU voices from government and business and will cover many of the key questions: What type of agreement is most likely and preferred by business? What areas of the future economic and trade relationship will be prioritised and why? What will the new deep and special partnership look like? How might the future EU-UK and UK-Romania relationship look like once an agreement has been reached?

We would be pleased if you would agree to join us.

EUROSFAT is the annual forum for European debates taking place in Romania since 2013. The objective of the event is to bring together politicians, diplomats, activists, business representatives, researchers, experts and citizens to discuss key issues on the European agenda, thus facilitating the positioning of Romanian actors within the EU. EUROSFAT 2018 benefits from the patronage of the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Bulgarian and Austrian Presidency of the EU Council, as well as partnerships with major institutions in Romania and Europe, companies and civil society organisations.

Do not hesitate to contact us for more information or questions about the details of the event. We are looking forward to meet you there.
