The event will take place between 09.30 and 13.30, with two main panels including the most relevant speakers at national level.

Members of BRCC are invited to participate for free, on the condition of registering in advance at conferinte@cursdeguvernare.ro.

Important: The conference will be hold exclusively in Romanian.

The Argument:

It is not every day that a European country has the possibility to influence the Union’s policies, placing itself at the edge between its own notional interests and the EU strategies.

Romania has this chance, starting from January 1st 2019, in one of the most effervescent moments of Europe: of the actual Brexit, repairs in the financial and budgetary area, configuration of the energy union, etc.

A complicated situation, which could at the same time turn into some advantage for the national objectives.

How do these mechanisms work, what are the margins of action and the promotion of our own goals, at what stage do we have the preparations for such an opportunity that can be “converted” into economic effects?

To these questions will answer the speakers of the conference, including:

Victor Negrescu –Minister for European Affairs, Valentin Lazea – chief-economist at the BNR, Gabriela DRĂGAN, general director, the European Institute of Romania, Daniela Nemoianu, Vice-President AmCham Romania, Alex Milcev – Tax Partner Ernst&Young,

The debates will take place in two panels, with concrete approaches to Romania’s dossiers and the ways in which national goals can be “attached” to the strategies with which the EU enters a new institutional cycle.

The event is part of a series of conferences made by CursDeGuvernare.ro (examples of approach, themes and speakers – HERE)
