Conference and Round Table to discuss more transparency through clear rules on lobbying. So far, it has been a criminal offense that government and administration talk directly to company or association representatives about projects or establish contacts. This forces all discussions into an area in which both are guilty of talking about the business climate or large infrastructure projects of the influence trade. Accordingly, these processes are naturally present, but there is no transparency. For a functioning democracy and a sustainable economic development, it is important that we talk to each other, but this is done according to clear rules. This will be discussed with representatives of associations, companies, government and NGOs and a vision for a change in the legal framework will be developed. This should be discussed as part of the FNF’s efforts to increase transparency in a follow-up with government and opposition representatives.
