In the last few years London has seen a large increase in the number of Romanian professionals joining its institutions and a matching increase in the number of City businesses actively involved in Romania. The banking sector in particular illustrates this point, with groups such as Barclays, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and UBS both employing Romanians and trading in Romania.
The BRCC CityLink is a junior membership arm of the Chamber whose mission is to provide City professionals in London with an interest in Romania the opportunity to network and share their knowledge for mutual benefit and to promote and generate new business between the City of London and Romania.
In this context, through the creation of this new working group, the BRCC is responding to the professional development needs of Romanians working in the City, it will expand the membership of the Chamber, give it and its members and associates access to the incredible talent available from the potential members of the group, bring new business opportunities and support the promotion of the City of London as a trading and investment destination.
Membership is free of charge, selective, but not exclusive and drawn from the following professions:
- Fund Management
